Dear CMSAA families,
We are so thankful for your support, patience, and understanding as we navigate the rough and muddy waters of a national pandemic.
At the time of this posting there have been 4 confirmed cases in Washtenaw County. While there are no direct connections to CMSAA, we want to be conscientious of the situation and our role in it.
We place a high value in our community on intentionality and taking care of one another. We are making every attempt to continue to take care of both our staff and our external obligations for our school.
With this in mind, we have decided to close CMSAA through April 6th.
Update as of April 2nd: closure is now through April 12th.
We are keenly aware of the ramifications of the decision and are seeking to balance multiple concerns. To continue providing for our staff and building, we will keep tuition payments on a normal schedule, despite the extended closure.
We remain committed to you as our families, and to our staff, and it is our hope and desire that CMSAA operations continue as normal as possible. Your commitment to our school community makes us who we are. We are grateful for that, and we could not do this without you.
Please continue to care for one another during this time, as we take a break from meeting at the school.
Challenging times can be an amazing opportunity for community to shine. We firmly believe we are a community that when tested by challenges, we will not only meet them, but surpass them. I am proud of who we are: our families, our staff, and our leadership.
We will continue to monitor the situation, and communicate with all relevant information.
May your family have a lovely (extra extended) Spring Break!
All our best,
Paula Gimotty, Laura Bengel, and your Board of Directors
