“I enjoy coming to work everyday. Before coming to CMSAA I worked for the public school systems for many years. I find that CMSAA provides a close loving environment for the children and the staff. I find the attention to the small details make me feel special and unique.” -Ms. Lakeya

“CMSAA is a wonderful environment for students and staff. As a caregiver in the Nido environment I have the privledge of guiding children through their first experiences in life. When I share what I do with others the question often asked is, ‘Montessori education begins that young?’ The answer is always a resounding ‘YES!’ It is my job to first create an environment that will allow the child to feel safe and comfortable. It is within this carefully prepared environment that the child will begin to develop self confidence and independence. Regardless of the activity, whether it be meal time, a diaper change, or preparing for a nature walk, the child will always be treated with respect and given the opportunity to take ownership within the task. By the time the child is ready to leave the Nido space they will have participated in laying a beautiful foundation for education that will continue to be built upon throughout their entire life.” -Ms. Rachel B.
