Welcome to Christian Montessori School of Ann Arbor! On behalf of our Board, staff members and family community, let me thank you for taking time to consider our school for your child’s educational journey. School choice can be challenging at best and we recognize that. Simply put, we know that school must not be viewed simply as a defined journey, but rather a part of real life. Our educational goals include fostering a passion for learning that will last a lifetime by creating classroom communities that include intellectual, interpersonal and functional independence for the children in our care. We ensure that this happens by respecting students’ inherent ability to do meaningful, authentic work at every age and stage of development; and we support this work by providing optimal experiences and authentic environments through which students engage with the world and advance their learning. Doing so allows each child to live their life to the fullest.

While Montessori education is considered unique by some, did you know that it has over a hundred year history and proven track record around the world? Dr. Maria Montessori’s methods have led to some of the world’s most creative leaders and thinkers. Current neuroscience and research on best practice in education further validates her approach. While these facts are not news to us, we invite you to come by and feel the CMSAA difference as you consider the best placement for your child!
