Extended Care Options

We offer flexible Extended Care options to help families manage their work and personal schedules and still be secure in the knowledge that their children are in an engaging, loving, and nurturing environment. Extended Care is offered for children at all levels from 8:00-8:15 a.m. and 3:30-4:30 p.m. Schedules can be planned by the year or the month and access to drop-in attendance may be available by telephoning the office to schedule. Drop-in attendance must be approved by the office prior to your child attending either Extended Care option (morning or afternoon).

Morning Extended Care is offered for families willing to make a year long commitment to the program. Morning care starts at 8:00 a.m. The program is open to children of all ages.

Afternoon Extended Care is available until 4:30 daily for all students. Families can enroll for a full year or may have access to drop-in attendance by telephoning the office to schedule.

Students are offered a snack after outdoor play and have a choice of activities. Outdoor play, weather permitting, is a popular choice. Children are often engaged in various activities including, but not limited to, imaginative play, coloring, crafts, or reading. Children in Elementary aftercare can choose to use this time to work on homework or engage in free play. Activities at this level are usually determined by the mix of children on a particular day.
